But as youth, we should reason before we vote anyone to power. We should not just vote anyone to power just because we have an affiliation to their party but rather listen to the manifestos and choose wisely which Party’s policies would best benefit our nation.
Over the years, majority of the youth have always had an affiliation to one part or the other and voting has usually been done based on their affiliation to a particular party. We therefore end up voting people into power simply because they are of a particular Party.

That is to say, that the basis of voting should not be just the party affiliation but rather an examination of the contents of their manifestos and policies.This would help elect the right leaders.
